The OGWC is reconvening a Subcommittee of stakeholders to discuss issues related to the carbon content of Oregon's forests. In part, the Subcommittee will be tasked with reviewing the recommendations made by the Forestry Technical Committee that was formed by the Commission in 2010 during the development of the Roadmap to 2020.
The Subcommittee will also be asked to look at questions related to the natural carbon flux by forest type, the carbon flux under current conditions or other interventions, and how baseline data is affected by different management and harvest scenarios.
The Subcommittee will be chaired by OGWC member Catherine Mater. A formal agenda for the meeting is not available but will be added to this site if applicable.
